I am a Canadian-Iranian queer woman living in Vancouver, BC, and my work explores themes of identity, belonging, and resilience. Drawing from my experiences as an immigrant, a queer woman, and a pioneer in the tech industry, my illustrations focus on displacement, self-discovery, and the courage to live authentically. Through narrative and symbolism, I express the tension between vulnerability and strength, independence and belonging, and the challenge of breaking societal expectations.
I create stories that resonate with those who have felt like outsiders, encouraging empathy and reflection. My art bridges personal history with universal themes, inviting viewers to explore what it means to live openly across boundaries and identities.
